People I meet: Ruth in Wrentham
By Diane Mahoney
To assist with my mission to get people together with one another and in appreciation of the Barbra Streisand song, “People, who need people, are the luckiest people in the world,” I’m going to start sharing some short stories about people I meet along my normal life path. There is always an interesting story in the connection that comes from it, which is both life affirming and life extending. This is to encourage everyone to start connecting.
Our first stop on a Berkshire foliage trip in October was at The Interstate Convenience Store in Wrentham, Massachusetts where we met Ruth.
This was our first pit stop and I will attest to the fact that they have the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen in a public place. I commented about this to Ruth the clerk who flashed me a big smile! The other clerk, listening in, beamed at me as well, so I commented that this must be a good place to work, to which they both agreed.
Many thanks to the Interstate Convenience in Wrentham and to Ruth and her fellow clerk for enriching my day. A great place for a pit stop or anything else you might need!
